Okay so as you get older Christmas obviously becomes less magical, sadly. Even more so when I literally buy my own presents and my parents transfer me the money. So this year I already know I’m getting some makeup bits, a new watch (from Unknown) and the Benefit Beauty Advent Calendar (!!!) which isn’t really a gift gift as I’ll have opened it before Christmas even arrives, but it was like £40 and anything bought for me from November onwards is basically a Christmas present.
Before Christmas I’ll probably go shopping with my Dad to choose a gift from him, so there will literally be no surprises. So, to combat this, I thought I’d compile a dream wish list, just in case like, Santa reads my blog or something.
Fiat 500c in Tan (£10,890)
I told you this was only a dream wish list! I’ve been obsessed with Fiats since forever and adore the tan colour version, but I have a car that I hardly ever drive so buying a new one would be pointless. A GAL CAN DREAM THO.
Olympus Pen E-L7 (£499.99)
I actually bought this, ok. I needed it! For, uh, things! (read: selfies). Though really iPhone pics are just not good enough for a beauty blog tbh, so I’ve been meaning to upgrade my camera for ages. This is so cute, ultra small and takes amazing quality photos. Did loads of research and this seemed to be the best, so I just hope I can get on with it and use it properly.
Chanel Classic Flap Bag, Cream Leather Caviar Calfskin with Gold Metal (£3,425)
I was going to get this bag for my birthday, was about to pay when the man asked if I always wore the colours I was wearing that day. I essentially laughed in his face, as I had on my one and only pale pink/cream outfit. I’m usually in black and greys. He then REFUSED TO SELL ME THE BAG as he said I would be ‘devastated’ with the colour transfer that would happen on the cream bag from my dark clothes. I was so upset, he let me fall in love then ripped it away from me. I got the black version in the end which is a compromise by no means and was a much more sensible choice, but the cream version will always have a part of my heart. ❤
Aesop ‘Boston’ Travellers Kit (£50)
Aesop is amazing and this lil kit is adorable. LOOK AT THE TINY MOUTHWASH. LOOK. AT. IT.
I just want a sequin ball gown to parade about the house in tbh.
I say dresses plural because this dress comes in various colours and I want them all. Navy satin is always a winner.
ASOS Syd Dip Satin Slip (£28)
Or, like, anything from Agent Provocateur. But this will do I guess.
Agent Provocateur Pink Silk Pyjamas (£325 for the set)
PSYCH. Asos will just not do when AP exists, it’s my initials for a reason. But weirdly I’m quite feeling the demure silk pj’s over the lacy and leather stuff this time. Luxe jim jams are my A/W predictions.
It’s rose gold and it’s a pineapple. Need I say more.
IT’S NEON, PINK AND A FLAMINGO. NEED I SAY MORE.
Tom Dixon Scent Diffuser in Earth (£85)
…The scent actually smells like shit but it looks SO RAD.
Tom Ford blush in Frantic Pink (£48)
The lady in Harvey Nichols tried this on me once and my boyfriend didn’t stop complimenting me on it. I’m not really hugely into blusher but because it evidently made such an impact on my face, I guess I should get it.
Raf Simons x Adidas trainers in Tan (£240)
I have the grey version of these and I’ve worn them so much, way more than I expected to. Therefore I want another pair, but the tan ones seem to be sold out everywhere. Sob sob.
On top of all this, I want loads more makeup stuff and some of those heels that like tie up? I’m yet to find any that I like but I am determined. Anyway yeah, I know: dream on. But Santa if you’re reading this I’ve been a very good girl I promise.
